MINE Smart Ferry
is an electric passenger ferry designed and built 100% by EA Group, developed under the concept of “Innovation for Society” (Corporate Social Innovation: CSI) to elevate public water transportation along the Chao Phraya River.
Developed by the EA Group, MINE Smart Ferry is Thailand’s first electric passenger ferry and was honored with the National Innovation Product Award 2020 by the National Innovation Agency. This achievement reflects the potential of Thai innovation to deliver tangible and positive impacts on society, more than 40 MINE Smart Ferry vessels are in active service, contributing to the reduction of air pollution and noise in urban areas while enhancing the water travel experience to be comfortable, safe, and environmentally friendly.
