Energy Absolute Public Company Limited (EA) welcomed contestants of Miss Thinn Thai Ngarm 2026 to the manufacturing facility of Absolute Assembly Co., Ltd. (AAB) in Chachoengsao province. Held under the theme “Celebrating the Spirit of Thailand on a New Path to the Future,” the visit offered contestants an opportunity to learn about commercial electric vehicle (EV) operations driven by Thai expertise and explore EA Group’s Green Energy Ecosystem, which connects clean energy with everyday mobility. The initiative also aimed to inspire younger generations to recognise how Thai technology and innovation can contribute to economic development, environmental protection and a better quality of life.

AAB manufactures and assembles commercial EVs through cooperation between EA Group and Nex Point Public Company Limited (NEX), serving as EA Group’s commercial EV manufacturing and assembly base in Thailand. During the visit, executives presented an overview of the business before guiding contestants through the electric bus manufacturing and assembly process. The contestants also took part in photo activities with electric vehicles, gaining a closer understanding of the technology and the capabilities of Thai personnel in the automotive industry of the future.

A key priority for AAB is preparing to manufacture and assemble 1,520 electric buses for the Bangkok Mass Transit Authority’s (BMTA) clean-energy, air-conditioned bus project, in collaboration with Nakhonchai Air and NEX. The initiative aims to help upgrade Thailand’s public transport system and translate the country’s energy transition into tangible improvements in people’s everyday journeys.

Beyond vehicle manufacturing, the contestants gained an overview of EA Group’s Green Energy Ecosystem, spanning renewable power generation, batteries and energy storage systems, charging stations and commercial EVs. Together, these businesses provide key elements for an integrated transition to clean energy in the transport sector, encompassing energy sources, technology and the infrastructure needed to serve both the public and businesses.

Domestic electric bus manufacturing and assembly also provide opportunities to build on the knowledge and skills of Thai personnel while applying technology to the public transport services people use every day. As electric buses replace vehicles powered by internal combustion engines, they help reduce tailpipe pollution in the areas they serve, connecting industrial development with environmental protection and a better quality of life for urban communities.

EA hopes the contestants will share their experiences and knowledge with their followers and communities, highlighting both the role of Thai personnel in EV manufacturing and assembly and the connection between clean energy and everyday mobility. This can help make clean energy and technology more relatable and easier to understand. The “spirit of Thailand” reflects not only the distinctive identity of each locality, but also the knowledge, capabilities and potential of younger generations to contribute to society and help move the country towards a sustainable future.
