EA joins hands with the Laos People’s Democratic Republic and signs an MOA to increase green energy capacity, and further develop the commercial EV ecosystem to work towards a green society for the Laos People’s Democratic Republic

On the 10th of March 2023, a ceremony was held to commemorate and sign the Memorandum of Agreement between Energy Absolute PCL and the Laos People’s Democratic Republic to invest in power businesses. With the Ministry of Finance Laos and E@ establishing a joint-venture company to empower and further develop green energy, the electricity grid in Laos, and develop the EV ecosystem for commercial vehicles in the Laos People’s Democratic Republic, to help the republic move towards a green society without pollution. Honouring us with their presence, is His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister Saleumsai Kammasid, Foreign Minister of Laos People’s Democratic Republic, Deputy Minister of Finance Dr. Phutanupetch Saysombat of Laos People’s Democratic Republic, and Mr. Somphote Ahunai, CEO of Energy Absolute PCL, at the ceremony held at Laos Plaza Hotel, Vientiane Capital, Lao PDR.

Deputy Minister of Finance Dr. Phutanupetch Saysombat of the Laos People’s Democratic Republic stated that this is a momentus occasion marking cooperation between the public-private sector in upgrading and developing green energy and the EV ecosystem within the Laos People’s Democratic Republic to improve efficiency.

Mr. Somphote Ahunai, CEO of Energy Absolute PCL (E@) revealed that Energy Absolute PCL is one of the leading companies in green energy technology and developing an EV ecosystem in the ASEAN region. The Company has expertise, experience and various patented products in the renewable energy business, bio diesell business, complete coverage over land-water based commercial EVs, as well as EV charging stations. In addition to the Company’s battery and energy storage systems, the Company owns the innovative Ultra Fast Charge technology, which has the ability to charge any type of EV battery to 80% capacity within only 15-20 minutes. The Company is quite confident that in joining hands with the Laos People’s Democratic Republic, these developments will help catapult the Laos People’s Democratic Republic towards a prosperous and pollution free future.

In regards to this investment, the Company will support technical knowledge and experience in developing an efficient renewable energy projects, including development of transmission lines to improve electricity acess in the areas of the Laos People’s Democratic Republic, as well as connecting the Laos People’s Democratic Republic to the grids of neighboring nations. The Company will help develop the commercial EV infastructure in the republic, with installations of Ultra-fast charge technology, to expand the EV market in the country. These investments will help improve public transportation in the country, increase area coverage, add value to the green energy business, and create added economic value for the Laos People’s Democratic Republic,” Mr. Somphote Ahunai states as the ceremony draws to a close.

This collaboration should be considered an important development at the national level. Establishing a joint-venture company in developing green energy in the Laos People’s Democratic Republic, as well as other related industries. These initiatives create a complete green energy eco system for the Laos People’s Democratic Republic, propelling the republic towards a sustainable future, with lower levels of CO2 emissions along with pollution free transport systems.
