Bloomberg included Energy Absolute as part of the 2021 Bloomberg Gender Equality Index (GEI)

January 27, 2021 Energy Absolute Plc. is the only renewable energy company in Thailand recognized as part of the Bloomberg Gender Equality Index (GEI) for the first year, reflecting the value of diversity and promote equality of women in the workplace and gender equality transparency reporting. This is consistent with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 5 Gender Equality Of the United Nations

This year, 380 companies were selected as members of the Gender Equality Index, covering more than 50 industries in 44 countries worldwide. Bloomberg GEI will consider public companies disclosing information on promoting gender equality by covering company statistics, policy, community engagement, and products and services. The index evaluates scores on information disclosure and measures gender equality across five pillars: female leadership and talent pipeline, equal pay and gender pay parity, inclusive culture, sexual harassment policies, and pro-women brand.
